Kwanzaa Crawl

At this special celebration, Brooklyn and Harlem's African diaspora communities toast the booming black-owned businesses of their boroughs. Show up for the first day of Kwanzaa, join a team and hit up over 30 bars, restaurants and shops in your borough. Brooklyn's lineup of spots includes Basquiat's Bottle, Mo's Fort Greene, Tilly's Brooklyn, Brooklyn Beso, Kings Beer Hall, Negril BK, Sugarcane and many more; Harlemites can enjoy a cruise through Gin Fizz, Cove Lounge, Lenox Sapphire Harlem, Harlem Hookah, Ruby's Vintage, Shrine and other beloved venues. Over three thousand sharply-dressed participants turned up for last year's day-long walking rage, so be sure to bring it: you never know who you'll meet this holiday.
